Let me tell you guys a little story about a senior living facility in Kinard (yeah, I don’t know where that is either).
We were contacted by a man who was living in a rural community for senior citizens disabled patients and he was just asking for help with a tarp not supplies or anything. There were about 20 of them. They have had no help, no provisions, nothing. Apparently these folks had asked for help but were turned down because of some specialized medical care concerns. We were contacted and because of our national status and back channel contacts we were able to get them meals, chainsaw teams, medical supplies, and even a doctor!!! We even have hot meals going to them for the next two days. The man told us this would sustain them until this mess was over.
Every resource we provided them, came as a result of this group.
Y’all saved some more lives today.
